Open Letter to the People of Japan

Dear Highly Esteemed and Honorable People of Japan,

I heard that Lang Lang was recently unable to play in your country on 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24 January 2013. He was supposedly ill, yet icedoll0614 (https://twitter.com/icedoll0614) and others suspect otherwise (http://www.artsjournal.com/slippeddisc/2013/01/is-lang-lang-toeing-party...). In any case, you didn't miss much.

Please consider my very serious offer to give a video game music solo piano concert tour pro bono in Japan.

It would be an honor to give a solo piano tour pro bono in your country and to help develop your unique musical culture. Please let me know if something can be worked out. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Martin Leung, the Video Game Pianist

If Japan accepts your offer, how about honoring the Lang Lang tickets so those people still get to attend a concert. Then they can decide for themselves who is better.

Japanese are very humble people and don't worry they will accept your offer.

Thanks for introducing me to Lang Lang and of course yourself. Maybe you guys could arrange for some dueling pianos. Enjoy your playing immensely. Thanks again!
